Student received first place in LSAMP Conference

Philip Mann, a Junior in Mechanical Engineering, received first place for his oral presentation at the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Conference “Where Research Becomes Reality” held November 7, 2009, at Purdue in West Lafayette. Philip’s presentation CFD Analysis of the #4 Ultraformer Reactor (4UFD-7) at Whiting was outstanding! Congratulations!

Moonbuggy at the IN State Fair Parade
One of the PUC "Moonbuggies" was exhibited at the Indiana State Fair on Wednesday August 12 and Thursday August 13 in the Indiana Space Grant Consortium booth. The "Moonbuggy" displayed finished 11/37 in this year's international competition. This buggy was designed by Brian Godfrey and driven by Brian Godfrey and Rachel Mok. The Faculty advisor is Prof. Harvey Abramowitz.
