Shuai Li receives ASCE Collingwood Prize

Shuai Li (PhD '17), Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, has been named the recipient of the ASCE Collingwood Prize for his paper entitled, "Integrating Natural Language Processing and Spatial Reasoning for Utility Compliance Checking," published in the Journal of Construction Engineering and Management.

Shuai Li (PhD '17), Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, has been named the recipient of the ASCE Collingwood Prize for his paper entitled, "Integrating Natural Language Processing and Spatial Reasoning for Utility Compliance Checking," published in the Journal of Construction Engineering and Management. While pursuing his PhD, Shuai worked with Associate Professor Hubo Cai.

The Collingwood Prize was instituted and endowed in 1894 by Francis Collingwood, past Secretary of ASCE. It is administered by the Committee on Younger Members through the Honors and Awards Program.
